Formed in 2016, Paris-based Quatuor Agate studied in Paris, Berlin and Munich. YCAT Artists since 2021 they were named ECHO Rising Stars in 2023, enabling them to perform in major concert halls across Europe in the 2024-2025 season. Scottish audiences may be familiar with their wonderful concerts in consecutive years at the Lammermuir Festival. In 2016 they founded the CorsiClassic Festival with a mission to bring chamber music to areas of Corsica where it is rarely heard.
