Winners of the Royal Over-Seas League Mixed Ensemble Prize,  the wind quintet Lumas Winds, (flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn and bassoon) which contains two members from Scotland, is definitely a young group to follow. Tunnell Trust Artists, Philip and Dorothy Green Young Artists and Kirckman Concert Society Artists,  they are friends from student days, each member active in other areas of musical performance.  They present a typically imaginative and varied programme of wind music, both solo and in chamber form, including a piece by Sally Beamish, who was resident in Scotland for many years.
