Accordionist Sofia Ros was born in the Canary Islands and lived in Spain before moving to study at St Marys Music School aged 13. Currently a student under Djordje Gajic at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) she was winner of the Vienna International Music Competition and the junior section of the Trophee Mondiale de l'accordeon. She made her Carnegie Hall debut aged 20 and has performed widely across Europe in venues including Vienna's Musikverein, the Purcell Room and Queens Hall Edinburgh.

Pianist Anna Michels was born in Scotland and studied at the Junior Academy of the RCS and St Marys Music School where she is now a member of the keyboard faculty. A Double Honours Graduate of Maastricht Conservatoire, she was a prizewinner as a chamber musician in the Vocallis Festival and Anton Garcia Abril International Chamber Music Competition whilst studying in the Netherlands. She is now completing her Master's Degree in Piano Performance at the RCS, under the Head of Keyboard, Aaron Shorr.

Sofia and Anna will present a concert focusing on a duo partnership, but will also play solo repertoire.
