Lawrence Power known worldwide as one of the leading viola players is on this occasion going to perform pieces both for viola and violin.  He will be accompanied by one of his regular partners, Simon Crawford Phillilps, an internationally renowned pianist and conductor.

In demand worldwide as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber music partner. Lawrence's artistry and penetrating musicianship gains him constant plaudits around the world, reflected in turn in eloquent reviews: He is the regular viola in the Nash Ensemble and over the past decade, he has become a regular guest performer with orchestras of the highest calibre, including the Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, Royal Concertgebouw  the Philharmonia, BBC Scottish Symphony and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras.
